Creative Boredom: Deep thoughts > Interracial Relationships!

I did some recent thinking and I stumbled over the topic of Racism in America!
I realized that even tho it still exist, it is slowly but surely dying out.
This generation that is coming up is more open minded but at the same time a little bit more ignorant.
I Say that it is dying out because if you look around in America it's a huge melting pot!
Every city State or event you go to you see so many different people from different cultures!
Lets take Manhattan for example!
Every-time i go to Manhattan its a new experience for me!
I always meet someone from a different race there!
It's always good to be Open-minded to new things as in
Religion
Race
Skin Color
Diversity
Language
Music
New Words!

Thats just to name a few!
I strongly believe that racism started off of nothing else but sheer ignorance!
I believe that only Close minded people become racist because they are too narrow minded to see anything else now a days!
Now a days its hard to be racist! Public schools have more than one race in there now a days! No more segregation! ( well in the majority of places in america!)
Racists believe that only there race is superior!
You cant really say which race is superior to which because of the fact that we all did something great for this world!
Some maybe be bigger than others but the fact remains that we all are apart of this world no matter where you go!
No is superior to one another no matter how much money and/or fame or status you have!
You may not be in the same social class but thats because SOCIETY said so!
If all man were created equally then why is that you should have certain things i cant based on my skin tone or language or heritage? it makes no sense to me!
The majority of people in the world have the same body parts, insides, The only thing that separates you from everyone else is whats on the outside! feel me?
But thats besides the point im trying to make today!

I mainly wanna focus on relationships between different races!
Interracial relationships get looked down upon as wrong and weird but why?

Why do people look at black dudes as sell outs when they date a white girl?
Why are white girls looked at as smuts when they date black guys!?
I personally think if we had more interracial relationships going on, alot more racism would die down!
As a black guy you were taught growing up that "white girls are all trouble atay away from them" - Momma Lmao
A white girl was taught growing up the same things about black guys.
I brought up this topic weeks ago on a panel and someone said something that bothered me a little ..
"White girls choose to not date black guys because they are abusive. Something like that won't happen in an all white relationship."
It bothered me for many reasons.
1. Because it was IGNORANCE in the 3rd degree!
2. I took offense to it .. well .. because I'm BLACK !
3. Abuse is not based on skin complexion.
I thought she was stupid for saying it regardless of it being a joke that didn't quite get over.
She just stereotyped and categorized black guys as a whole! Stating that we are all abusive!
Abuse is not based on skin complexion its based on the person, so the person can be black, white, yellow, pink, purple, green, blue, short, fat, tall, skinny or just a regular person they will still abuse you if thats what they do.
There are many guys who beat females WHO ARENT BLACK!
Not saying that i condone abuse because i damn sure don't i believe that anybody brave enough to hit a female is brave enough to share a cell for life! I'm just saying.
But what i am saying is that abuse is not generalized into one race! Every race does it you have to just be careful who you are cause they can be white black or spanish if they are abusive they will hit.

But i digress ...

Interracial relationships shouldn't be frowned upon, you should smile and say what a blessing!
This is what the black people were fighting for, to see everyone together as one. but yet still you instill in your kids heads that the opposite sex from another race is trouble?

No I'm not writing this because i have a white girlfriend cause i don't lmao. But I'm writing this because I'm a person who wants to see racism stop. Even though it may not be completely extinct it will die down to an all time low soon enough.
Point is the generalizations need to stop .. Open your mind up to new things just a little bit more america!

Creative Boredom: Poem > Hey there beautiful

Just heard Alicia Keys New song "Unthinkable(I'm ready) for the first time today!
I really honestly fell in love with the song! The song is pretty much about She is really feeling this new guy and i take it he is feeling her too and the feeling feel so true its unreal so why not do the unthinkable and get together! Im ready to be your baby!
And for some reason the song captivated me! The whole vibe of the song made me like think for a minute! but now i got this whole playlist playing and i'm getting mixed feelings! And i love feeling like this! BEcause to me this is the perfect time to write! So i got this poem im thinking about writing! And the title is in the name of the blog!

Girl of my dreams! Thought she wasn't existent.
Till i stumble past a pretty girl in a instance.
What was only five minutes felt like a whole lifetime!
I was going to say something but i was looking for the right time!
Confidence is sexy and the best color to wear.
She looks full of herself do i even dare?
Next thing you know my feet got me walking forward.
Look up from my i-pod and i'm headed straight towards her.
Wait she hasn't looked yet it's time to escape.
Gotta hold my composure this dream is probably fake!
No hold up i cant let her slip.
Oh shit stand straight before yo ass trip!
Chin up legs heavy but im still walking
She pulls out her cellphone and then starts talking
Fuck ima walk past as if it never happen
But i couldn't help but notice her skin was soft like satin
Im hating myself should i talk or should i go

There she was in front of me in wearing Class like an accessory
I don't even know i think she would mess with me!

She's everything you want! But nothing of what you need!

Ya'll should talk before you lay pipe!
Dont just dive right in because she look ripe!

I wanted to finish it with chlamydia because i figured aids is too scary for some people to deal with. But i will give you information on aids and how you can prevent it!

Aids- Is a disease that affects 1 out of every 3 black people in america!
Not something to be taken lightly!
There is no cure for aids (there is but thats another blog)
Millions of people are infected and are slowly dying!
There is syure proof ways to make sure you dont get aids.
THE NUMBER ONE WAY TO STAY HIV NEGATIVE IS ABSTINENCE!

I'd be a liar if i sit here today and say i practice abstinence! But at the sme time i make sure i practice safe sex!
Condoms are not expensive at all!
$5 a box vs Thousands of dollars in treatment and hospital bills!

Sounds like a b argain to me! Just spend the $5 and save your life and your partners life! Its that simple!

Closing point: Aids is dangerous and very easy to catch! Spreading through the black community each day! STRAP UP OR GET OUT! that simple no other way to put it! Not tryna scare just coming to you with the realness you need to hear!

I have a feeling im going to start controversy with this blog!

I made a Myspace ages ago! Now i have a Facebook and a Twitter, and over the years i have realized something is occuring more and more each year! And that is .....
GIRLS ON SOCIAL NETWORKS WITH HALF NAKED PICTURES!
Why has this become a trend? Why do girls feel it is necessary to be almost completely naked in pictures to be shown to the public!!
Rite now we are not talking bout any female over the age of 25!
This is directed to teenage girls who are wearing close to nothing in one or more photos on a social site!
I never understood the real motive behind the picture.
Why do you think they have to be naked or a tease in order to get attention from the opposite sex?
Girls listen up this is from a males point of view!
IT'S A BAD REPRESENTATION OF YOURSELF!
Point blank period!
Social networks are cool to communicate with your friends and colleagues and meet new people no doubt!
I'm not bashing social network sites, but did you know its a hotspot for sexual predators?
I'm pretty sure alot of you heard this before! This is not old news!
Hundreds of men have been caught Stalking and raping girls because of social sites! This is not a game!
DOn't mean to scare you or anything but im just saying, You are who present yourself to be!
Now earlier i said its a bad representation. I wasn't lying!
What you put on your site and/or page is a reflection of who you are!
When you put something on there its because you like it! Which means if you put a background or a picture of a marijuana leaf people are going to ask you if you smoke weed!
You may not even smoke weed you may just like the picture but the point is thats what people see.. thats what people think!
Yeah i believe in rumors and i know they can start for many reason.
But then again rumors start depend on how you live your life! Even if they are not true they start from someone/somewhere off of something!
Im straying away from the topic here again. Lol. But anyway as for the pictures you put on your myspace its a bad representation because when people see it they get the thinking.
Ladies have you ever signed on to myspace and gotten like more than 3 friend request in one day?
well if you have did you ever stop to think why so many people requested you? and when you changed your picture did anyone request you?
Stop to think bout that for a second!

At this age female's you need to hold yourself a certain way because w.e rep you get at this age follows you!
It seriously does! And you know why? cause people will remember certain events they WANT to remember!
When you put a picture up there and you are showing off the goods! Look at how many people comment the picture saying the same thing!

"your beautiful"
"I love this pik"
and they mite even get a little more bold and say stuff like
"send me a nude picture ma"
"when you gon let me hit that?"
"damn you sexy as hell you should let me fuck!"
When guys see pictures like those they are not thinking
"she is probably a straight A student"
they are thinking!
"damn this girl is a freak she probably freaky and easy!"
"damn yo she probably a hoe!"
"she probably take nudies for dudes"
Now none of this may be true but guess what? They dont know that!
All they know is that you took a half naked picture for myspace or whatever and they assume the rest!
Even if you r the type of girl who is a 'you can look but cant touch" type of tease.. Thats not going to stop guys from dragging your precious name in mudd and slinging it in bad ways!
Doesn't matter if your a virgin or not! You take a picture like that and you automatically look like your not!
Be careful ladies this is not something to brush off! This is guys we are talking bout!
Guys talk just as much as females (thats another blog).
Bottom line Guys will never respect you if you dont have any-self respect!
Whats the point of taking pictures like that?
Taking pictures like that shows a couple of things ..

It's a desperate cry for attention
You think TOO highly of yourself (extremely conceited)
You have low self -esteem!

The list goes on! When you take pictures like that you are now a target for a predator! He will come to you rpictures and look at them. If they are private he will add you! MOst likely you will accept ! All he needs to know is your general area where you are most the time and there you go!
I can go on for hours about this blog but i dont want to spend all day reading what i have to say! But i still want you to read it no doubt!

Last night my sister bought me a new book! Yay me!!
The name of the book is - Letters to a Young Brother! by Hill Harper!
I opened it last night and didnt put it down until my eyes closed from being up so late!
It is honestly a real good book I'm almost done with it!
SHOUT OUT TO HILL HARPER FOR WRITING THAT INSPIRATIONAL BOOK!!!!
I woke up this morning and decided to open it up again before getting my day started!
I really love the book that much!
But anyway as i was reading I started thinking about a blog to write! And by god's grace i was able to be inspired enough to write this blog! i hope you guys enjoy this one !


If you have the potential and opportunity to better yourself, should you settle for less?
Of course not! You should never sell yourself short of what you really want to achieve!
As a matter of fact, you should shoot higher than what you really want! "Shoot for the moon, so if you fail you land somewhere along the stars!"
Why should someone tell them-self they are never too good for something?
July 20th, 1969 Neil Armstrong stepped foot on the moon!
November 5th, 2008 the 44th President elected was HALF african-american!
May not be a whole! But he still counts for something in history!
But my point is, if a man has already been to the moon and we have a black president!
That goes to show that anything is possible! Anything you put your head to can be achieved!
So why sell your self for anything short of the best!
If you have the chance to better yourself then why not?
No one can tell you the price of YOUR future! It's YOURS !!!!!
The point I'm tryna make is! NEVER SETTLE FOR LESS!
I can't help but to stress that more!!!

What brings me to that point this morning is this!

I woke up this morning and someone told a friend of mine he should give up high school and get his G.E.D, get a job and start on his way to college! After repeatedly telling the person no.... they said HE was stupid! This was brand new to me! I have never in my life heard anyone being called dumb for wanting a high school diploma! but i kinda understood what he was talking about when he said no! I got left back once which means he only has a year and a semester left of high school! He is one month away from starting high school and they are telling him to give up? HE said to me. "Why would i settle for less? If i have the opportunity rite now to become better why sell myself short?" which made me write this blog! He was so RIGHT! he told me "i want that diploma n my hand! I want that piece of paper PROVING that my hard work paid off!. PROVING that i was determined to be better! I don't want the document that says i took the easy route!" and i congratulated him for that! He had made a point that had really touched me!
Inspired me to write this blog and tell everyone else that you should never settle for less! He stated "HIGH SCHOOL TEACHES YOU ONE OF LIFES GREATEST VIRTUES! AND THATS PATIENCE" i told him he should copyright that quote lol. But seriously tho he was right! Why would you take the easy way out? he would get his g.e.d and a job rite away! But it wouldn't be the job that could help him be greater! Feel me? he mite get the job rite now and then be stuck with a low paying for the rest of his life!!!!! SCARY SHIT! Truth be told! i respect him for the decision he made! Not alot of young people think like that now a days!
I could write about this for hours but it's time to start wrapping up!

Okay so i am bumping to a old T-Pain record ... I decided to write this blog on froday but for some reason i had nothing to write about! So i decided to write about how i'm feeling right now and im feeling some type of way! (excuse my unproper typing skills today) But i was just recently played by a small list of females so i decided to write a poem about it! (run on sentence or two sorry bout that! )
its a short poem!

Played the game well!

Ready to spit game i got my lines rite and ready!
Stepped to the plate and the bat felt heavy!

She swung the first line and i took a hard swing!
She looked at me and said "that aint my thing!

Got ready for the next hit and got back into stance!
Another damn strike when she said she gotta a man!

Wiped the sweat from from my head and got back in position!
She swung the next line and my arm started twitching!

Straight over my head so they say thats a ball!
Asked for the number and asked if i could call!

Thats when we switched and she was hitting,
Scooped the digits and went back to pitching!

So im back at the plate with one chance left!
Swung another line and and the coch screamed next!

I dropped the bat and walked to the bench
Sweat dripping in my palms my hands was drenched!

Struck out and got played! She played the game well!
